herd owner's claim for Federal/State indemnity under 9 CFR 50. The
information is furnished by a slaughtering establishment and is
used for determining the amount of indemnities due to the owner
based on the appraised value of the animal. This information is
needed for effective monitoring and management of the program to
make decision relative to quarantine and movement of cattle under 9
CFR 77.
