Abstract: The Service is promulgating this rule to protect American Agriculture and its forests from exotic plant pest likely to cause immense economic damage if established. The rule permits the entry of certain classes of wood products provided they are processed or treated in such a way that any pests they are carrying are killed or eliminated.
