Abstract: U.S. banks and banking institutions with more than $1 billion in commitments to purchase foreign currencies and U.S. dollar exchange must file a monthly report with the FDIC. The report will help monitor foreign exchange exposures and identify changing market practices and bank reactions to disruptions in exchange markets.
