This regulation clarifies requirements
under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA)
with respect to loans from pension plans which are made to plan
participants and beneficiaries who are parties in interst with
respect to the plan.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
