46 U.S.C. 3308 REQUIRES INSPECTED
VESSELS TO BE EXAMINED AT PROPER TIMES. THE INFORMATION COLLECTED
AND REPORTED BY OFFSHORE SUPPLY VESS OPERATORS WILL BE USED BY THE
COAST GUARD IN PLACE OF A REINSPECTION EXAMINATION BY A COAST GUARD
MARINE INSPECTOR TO DETERMINE WHETHER OFFSHORE SUPPLY VESSELS IN
OVERSEAS LOCATIONS ARE MAINTAINED IN SATISFACTORY CONDITION AND
CONTINUE TO BE REASONABLY FIT FOR THEIR
