Abstract: ABOUT 90 ROYALTY PAYORS ON INDIAN MINERAL LEASES WILL BE ASKED TO CERTIFY THAT, SINCE MARCH 1, 1988, THEIR COMPANIES WERE OR WERE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH DUAL ACCOUNTING REQUIREMENTS CONTAINED IN INDIAN LEASES. THE MMS WILL CONDUCT THIS INQUIRY AS PART OF ITS TRUST RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF INDIAN MINERAL LEASES.
