addition, ED has agreed to meet the following conditions: -- ED
shall include information about student loan limits in counselin
materials provided to schools, in the Rights and Responsibilities
statement that accompanies the promissory note, and in the Student
Guide that provides borrowers with information about Federal
financial aid. ED shall also add to the SAR and promissory note
materials a not informing students that they should contact their
financial aid office about loan limits specific to them. ED has
agreed to remove the requirement that students sign to the fact
that they have exceeded applicable loan limits from the SAR, unless
such a signature is determined to be required by statute or
regulation. -- ED will commence an operations assessment of the
FAFSA this fall through the cognitive labs operated by the Bureau
of Labor Statistics, to obtain views of students and parents who
complete the forms and interviews with aid officers who process the
forms. ED shall use this assessment to make further refinements in
the FAFSA-SAR process. -- OMB supports ED's continued efforts to
promote and expand use of electronic filing of this information by
students, parents, and school -- ED has deleted questions on prior
loans that will duplicate data in the National Student Loan Data
System. Should NSLDS not be implemente in timely fashion, ED shall
