As a means of
reducing the burden of those appraisals which this rule imposes in
addition to those which would customary and usual business
practices would require, OCC should consider whether the
requirement for appraisals could be set in terms of situations in
whic real estate values are likely to have changed significantly.
OCC is requested to report to OMB on its findings as part of its
next request for extension of approval of this docket. Item 14 of
the narrative explaining changes in burden has been disregarded
because the changes were entered 8/6/93.
