Abstract: REGULATION M, ISSUED BY THE FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD, IMPLEMENTS THE CONSUMER LEASING ACT. IT REQUIRES LESSORS TO DISCLOSE TO CONSUMERS IN PRESCRIBED FORMAT THE ESSENTIAL TERMS AND COSTS OF CERTAIN LEASES O PERSONAL PROPERTY. THIS SUBMISSION INCLUDES ONLY THE PAPERWORK BURDEN ASSOCIATED WITH LESSORS OVER WHICH THE FTC HAS JURISDICTION.
