The "Employee
Benefit Plan Annual Report, FORM 5500 Series" is approve for use
through September 1994, which is the same approval date given to
the IRS portion of the 5500 (1545-0710). No changes are approved
for these forms beyond what has been approved by OMB for 1545-0170
on December 24, 1992, and the subsequent revision made with OMB
approval November 30, 1993. PBGC and DOL should continue to
coordinate review of the 5500 series with IRS -- so that all
packages are submitted to OMB simultaneously. OMB will encourage
IRS to meet with appropriate DOL and PBGC officials to improve this
coordination of OMB submissions
