THIS RULE WILL TERMINATE PRIOR HUD
REVIEW OF NEW SUBDIVISION DEVELOPMENTS. INSTEAD OF PRIOR REVIEW BY
HUD, HUD WILL REQUIRE THE BUILDER TO COMPLETE A CERTIFICATION (FORM
HUD-92541) THAT NOTES AN ADVERSE SITE/LOCATION FACTORS ON THE
PROPERTY SO THAT HUD DOES NOT INSURE A MORTGAGE ON A PROPERTY THAT
POSES RISK TO THE HEALTH OR SAFET OF THE OCCUPANT.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
