P.L. 99-440 PROVIDES THAT THE USG WILL
NOT PROVIDE CERTAIN EXPORT MARKETING SUPPORT TO U.S. FIRMS
OPERATING IN SOUTH AFRICA UNLESS THEY REGISTER AND IMPLEMENT THE
FAIR LABOR PRINCIPLES SPECIFIED IN SECTION 208 OF P.L. 99-440. THE
APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION IS DESIGNED TO ENABLE THOSE FIRMS TO
REGISTER WITH THE DEPARTMENT.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
