on 9/10. Because the student surveys will not produce data th can
be generalized to the universe of Tech-Prep programs, student surv
information shall be reported only for the ten in-depth study
sites. aggregations of these data across sites will be made, and
conclusions about Tech-Prep will not be drawn; rather, student
information will be used to provide context and detail about ten
sites, and draw hypothese for future study. Comparison with a
similar group of students from th NELS database will be used for
background information only, and no tables comparing the two data
sources will appear in any reports. -- ED shall prepare a list of
States and localities that have evaluate their own Tech-Prep
programs, so that such evaluations may be collecte -- ED shall add
questions to the local survey on outreach and public information
about Tech-Prep, to obtain generalizable data on this topi -- ED
shall assess whether more questions would be appropriate for stu
Year 4, and if appropriate shall request such questions in an
addendum -- ED shall make clear in all published reports that the
survey data d not include students who have dropped out of high
school. -- ED shall add school and district variables to the NELS
comparison. -- ED shall provide a copy of the letter sent to States
that indicated exemption from the EDGAR performance reports for
participating grantee -- ED shall add proper burden and sponsor
information to the surveys.
