Abstract: THE GOVERNMENT SECURITIES ACT OF 1986 REQUIRES_ALL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS THAT ACT AS GOVERNMENT SECURITIES BROKERS_AND DEALERS TO NOTIFY THEIR DESIGNATED FEDERAL REGULATORY AGENCIES_OF THEIR BROKER-DEALER ACTIVITIES, UNLESS EXEMPTED FROM THE AGENCIES_REQUIREMEN BY TREASURY DEPARTMENT REGULATION. FORMS HAVE BEEN_DEVELOPED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ACT.
