Abstract: THE NIST STATE TECHNOLOGY EXTENSION PROGRAM PROVIDES TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO STATE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES T HELP THOSE PROGRAMS HELP BUSINESSES, PARTICULARLY SMALL- AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES, ENHANCE THEIR COMPETITIVENESS THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY.
