Abstract: NCES WILL FIELD A TELEPHONE SURVEY OF HOUSEHOLDS COVERING SCHOOL READINESS AND SCHOOL SAFETY AND DISCIPLINE. THE COLLECTION WILL PROVIDE INFORMATION RELATED TO GOALS 1 AND 6 OF THE NATIONAL EDUCATION GOALS. THE DATA WILL BE USED TO MONITOR TRENDS IN EXPERIENCES AND ACTIVITIES OVER TIME.
