THIS REQUEST IS FOR ELEVEN FORMS USED WHEN APPLICATIONS FOR LIVESTOCK USE PERMITS ARE TAKEN AND ARE INVOLVED IN THE ISSUANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OF LIVESTOCK GRAZING PERMITS ON THE NATIONAL FOREST SYSTEM (NFS). APPROXIMATELY 16,000 RANCHERS AND FARMERS HOLD GRAZING PERMITS ON NFS LAND. WITHOUT COLLECTION OF THIS DATA, THE GRAZING OF 2.9 MILLION HEAD OF LIVESTOCK ON THE NFS WOULD BE IN JEOPARDY.
