Approved as
amended by ED's 1/13/92 memorandum to OMB. Also, ED has agreed to
delete item A.6 from the State Formula Grants report, since data no
waivers will have no utility for the 1990-91 award year -- the year
for which approval to collect data is granted. -- As OMB indicated
to ED during a 1/21/92 meeting, the package does not address
pending conditions of clearance regarding the redesign of this form
to collect results-oriented outcomes data rather than input data.
ED agreed that by 4/1/92, it will develop a plan for collecting
policy-relevant outcomes data on this program specifically and
Federal math-science education programs generally (including NSF,
Energy, and other agencies as appropriate). ED will submit this
plan for OMB review, along with a revised performance report
package for th 1991-92 Eisenhower program year and beyond.
