The existing
period of approval of the student verification of enrollment
through 9/94 remains unchanged by this action. This action amends
the existing approval to encompass a pilot test of the Student
Automated Verification of Enrollment System. This approval permits
information collection on a pilot basis through 6/93 for Veterans
in the Chapter 30 program attending California schools and having
domestic ZIP codes. VA must seek and receive OMB approval before
expanding this pilot study beyond the group for which it is now
approved or beyond 6/93. As part of the pilot test, VA is permitted
to make minor modifications to the wording and sequencing of
questions. A document indicating any changes must be submitted to
OMB within 60 days of the beginning of the pilot test.
