We have approved
the use of these forms, used by the UI administration to monitor
state trust fund activities, for less than the maximum thre year
period allowed by the Paperwork Reduction Act for the following
reason: DOL notes that "DOL reports will have to comport with the
regulations" issued by the Treasury Departmentto implement PL
101-453. These regulations must issue before October 24, 1992.
Therefore, in i next submission, DOL should explain what changes,
if any, must be made to these DOL's reports so that they
complement, but not replicate, any information collection
activities required by the Treasury Department regulations.
