response survey will be submitted for expedited OMB review; 2)
Federal Register publication of the instruments and accompanying
survey guidance or instructions, cover letters, etc. will be
waived; 3) Unless significant issues are identified, OMB will
complete its review of each instrument in 14 days to facilitate
rapid turn around o data collection, dissemination, and policy
making; 4) NIDA will propose as QRS's only those research topics
that are appropriate for small samples and discrete rather than
longitudinal analysis. For example, treatment outcomes research
does not lend itself to the QRS methodology; 5) upon request, NIDA
will provide OMB with any QRS data and analyses; and 6) NIDA will
thoroughly explain all limitations of QRS data and relat outputs
when released to the public and government entities.

THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE ON DRUG ABUSE
(NIDA) PROPOSES TO UNDERTAKE AN INDEFINITE QUANTITY OF TELEPHONE,
MAIL, AND PUBLIC INTERCEPTION SURVEY AT THE REQUEST OF THE OFFICE
OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY AND OTHER FEDERAL POLICY
BODIES.
