NIST has agreed
to redesign the forms so that the yearly, descriptive,
rhetoric-laden part of the application form and the fee schedule
and deadlines are the only parts reprinted each year. Those parts
do not require clearance. The application forms themselves and the
associate instructions will be altered to include no references to
exact fees or deadlines so that they may be printed only once every
three years. The OMB clearance number, expiration date, and burden
statement must appear on the application forms.
