Abstract: MULTI-EMPLOYER PENSION PLAN SPONSORS SEND PBGC CERTAIN PLAN AMENDMENTS AND INFORMATION, DESCRIBED IN THIS REGULATION, THAT PBGC NEEDS TO DECI WHETHER TO APPROVE OR DISAPPROVE THE AMENDMENTS. PBGC USES THE INFORMATION TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE AMENDMENTS CREATE AN UNREASONABLE RISK OF LOSS TO PLAN PARTICIPANTS AND BENEFICIARIES OR TO PBGC.
