Abstract: THIS STUDY, WHICH WILL AFFECT CHILD-BEARING WOMEN OF THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, IS NECESSARY TO DETERMINE THE PREVALENCE AND PATTERNS O CIGARETTE, ALCOHOL AND DRUG USE DURING PREGNANCY. THE RESULTS WILL BE USED BY NIDA, ONDCP, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, CONCERNED ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS TO DIRECT THEIR ACTIVITIES AND ESTABLISH POLICY.
