THIS REGULATION REQUIRES EMPLOYERS TO
TRAIN EMPLOYEES ABOUT THE HAZARDS OF INORGANIC ARSENIC EXPOSURES,
TO MONITOR EMPLOYEE EXPOSURE, TO PROVIDE MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE, AND
TO MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORDS OF EMPLOYEE EXPOSURE TO INORGANIC
ARSENIC. THESE RECORDS WILL BE USED BY EMPLOYERS, EMPLOYEES,
PHYSICIANS AND THE GOVERNMENT TO ENSURE THAT EMPLOYEES ARE

with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
