THE COMMISSION IS EVALUATING THE
IMPLEMENTATION, ENFORCEMENT, AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE FAIR HOUSING
AMENDMENTS ACT OF 1988. THE PROPOSED SURVEY WILL BE USED TO ASSESS:
1) THE ROLE OF HUMAN RIGHTS AGENCIES IN FEDERAL FAIR HOUSING
ENFORCEMENT, 2) THE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BY AGENCIES SEEKING
RECERTIFICATION UNDER AMENDED TITLE VI AND 3) THE CONSEQUENCES AND
POLICY OPTIONS AVAILABLE IF AGENCIES FAIL
