Pursuant to the
Paperwork Reduction Act and OMB regulations at 5 CFR 1320, this
collection of information is approved for two years. This approval
is for less than the usual three years because: 1. under the court
order, EPA must promulgate phase two of this FIP which will also
contain information requirements, 2. EPA needs to further establish
the actual burden associated with this collction, and 3. the
amendments to the Clean Air Act which Congress is currently
considering mayfundamentally change the control requirements placed
on States.
