We have approved
these generic health hazard evaluations, as requested by the
Department, subject to the following restrictions. Any single
health hazard evaluation imposing more than 500 hours of paperwork
burden or involving ten or more firms shall be submitted separately
for paperwork review. In addition, HHS shall submit for Paperwork
Reduction Act review any HHE requested by OMB for purposes such as
coordination with other agencies working on the same hazard. OMB
will expeditiously review any such HHEs submitted for review.

NIOSH CONDUCTS "SHORT TERM" FIELD
