Abstract: EPA MONITORS INDIVIDUAL VEHICLE AND ENGINE MANUFACTURER COMPLIANCE WIT THE CLEAN AIR ACT STIPULATION THAT VEHICLES BE FREE OF FEDERAL EMISSIO STANDARDS DEFECTS DURING EACH VEHICLE'S USEFUL LIFE.
