Terms of Clearance: Approved with the following conditions. (1) This approval is granted through September 1990 to provide HUD with additional time to formulate revisions to its cash disbursement system. OMB requests that HUD provide OMB with a briefing on the likely changes to the cash disbursement system when it resubmits this information collection for reveiw under the Paperwork Reduction Act. (2) Per the agreement between HUD and OMB, HUD will advise program participants that they need only provide summary totals on the HUD 9835B form for "Repairs" (at line A1) and "Operating Deficit" (at line A3). Consequently, respondents need not provide the detailed repair and operating deficit information provided on lines A1a-d and A3a-e, respectively, which are duplicative of information otherwise available to HUD. HUD should provide OMB with a copy of the guidance it provides to field offices and respondents indicating this change in reporting requirements prior to the resubmission of this information collection for Paperwork Reduction Act review.
