THESE REGULATIONS PROVIDE GUIDANCE
WITH RESPECT TO THE RECOVERY OF ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS INCURRED IN
CONNECTION WITH AN ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEEDING BEFORE THE INTERNAL
REVENUE SERVICE. "REASONABLE ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS" ARE DEFINED, AS
IS THE PERIOD WITHIN WHICH SUCH COSTS MUST BE INCURRED. PROCEDURES
THAT MUST BE FOLLOWED TO RECOVER SUCH COSTS ARE ALSO SET
FORTH.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
