Abstract: THE INFORMATION COLLECTION REQUIREMENTS IN THIS RULE ARE ESTABLISHED I ORDER TO IMPLEMENT THE REQUIREMENTS FOR STATE AND LOCAL HISTORIC PRESERVATION PROGRAMS AS SPECIFIED IN THE NATIONAL HISTORIC PRESERVATI ACT, AS AMENDED. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR APPROVAL OF STATE AND LOCAL PROGRAMS PARTICIPATING IN THE NATIONAL PROGRAM. STATES AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS THAT WISH TO PARTICIPATE ARE AFFECTED.
