ABUSE MORBIDITY AND MORTALITY, TO MONITOR DRUG ABUSE TRENDS AND
PATTERNS, AND TO PROVIDE DRUG SPECIFIC DATA USEFUL FOR NATIONAL AND
LOCAL DRUG ABUSE POLICY PLANNING AND FOR ASSESSMENT OF PUBLIC
HEALTH HAZARDS ASSOCIATED WITH DRUG ABUSE.
