This generic
approval establishes a presumption that these pre-test and
evaluation instruments meet the requirements of the Paperwork
Reduction Act. This clearance eliminates the need for formal
submission of these instruments to OMB. However, all pre-test and
evaluation instruments shall be informally submitted to OMB at
least ten calendar days before they are used. OMB retains the
prerogative to require modification or disapproval of instruments
in individual cases.
