Abstract: THE FDIC USES THE DATA COLLECTED ON THE SURVEY FORM TO DEVELOP A FILE CONTAINING INFORMATION ABOUT PROSPECTIVE INVESTORS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING LOANS OR REAL ESTATE HELD BY THE FDIC AS A RESULT OF BAN FAILURES. THE FILE IS MATCHED AGAINST ANOTHER FILE CONTAINING DATA ABOUT SPECIFIC LOAN PORTFOLIOS AND REAL ESTATE TO ENABLE THE QUICK SAL OF THE ASSETS.
