The "December
1989 Receipt of Pension Benefits Supplement to the CPS" is approved
through September 1990 as a one-time survey. Should the PWBA wish
to collect data through a supplement to the CPS again, the
justification statement should describe, (1) The general results of
the December survey, (2) A statement from Census on any problems
identified during the administration of the survey (e.g.
respondents could not provide the information requested, etc.) (3)
Efforts to avoid duplication of other existing Federal data
collection, such as the SIPP.
