THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH RECEIVED A REQUEST FROM THE UNITED
FOOD AND COMMERCIAL WORKERS UNION TO EVALUATE THE OCCURRENCE OF
CUMULATIVE TRAUMA DISORDERS (CTDS) AMONG GROCERY CHECKERS AT THE
SHOPRITE SUPERMARKET CHAIN IN NEW JERSEY AND NEW YORK. THE
MANAGEMENT OF SHOPRITE HAS AGREED TO HAVE NIOSH CONDUCT THIS
EVALUATION.

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
