MORTALITY STUDIES CARRIED BY THE
NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE AMONG FUNER DIRECTORS/EMBALMERS HAVE
SHOWN EXCESS RISK FOR LEUKEMIA AND BRAIN CANCER. THIS CASE-CONTROL
STUDY IS DESIGNED TO DETERMINE IF THE EXCESS FOR CANCER IS
ASSOCIATED WITH SPECIFIC ETIOLOGIC FACTORS IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT
OF INTERVIEW OF NEXT-OF-KIN AND CO-WORKERS ABOUT OCCUPATIONAL
HISTORY AND OTHER POSSIBLE DISEASE RELATED FACTORS.
