Abstract: THIS LEGISLATION ALLOWS STATES TO APPLY FOR FUNDING OF HAZARD MITIGATI MEASURES FOLLOWING A FEDERAL DECLARATION OF A MAJOR DISASTER OR EMERGENCY. THE STATE WILL SERVE AS GRANTEE AND MUST PREPARE AN ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN WHICH OUTLINES THE PROCEDURES FOR GRANT MANAGEMENT.
