Terms of Clearance: This ICR is approved for three years with the understanding that EPA submit an information correction worksheet in one year to decrease the burden level from 25,168 to 3,960 and in two years to further decrease the burden to 1,320. These changes would be program decreases. In addition, and as a condition of clearance, EPA shall make available to registrants "Information Sheets" which explain the basis of exemptions from the reregistration fees especially as it concerns antimicrobial products which are exempt if total production of all registrants is less than 1,000,000 pounds. Any policy notices or information sheets concerning exemption policy including minor use and small volume shall be provided to OMB prior to issuance.

Abstract: AMENDMENTS TO THE FEDERAL INSECTICIDE, FUNGICIDE AND RODENTICIDE REQUIRES PESTICIDE PRODUCT REGISTRANTS TO PAY A ONE-TIME FEE FOR THE ACTIVE INGREDIENTS THEY PRODUCE. THE FEES APID ARE TO BE APPORTIONED BASED ON MARKET SHARE. A FORM TO COLLECT SALES DATA WILL BE SENT TO REGISTRANTS TO FACILITATE THE APPORTIONMENT.
