FNS has done a
good job of estimating the burden of this collection. When FNS
resubmits this collection next year they should at minimum, outline
plans for reducing the burden of this very burdensome collection.
These plans could include smart cards for lunch recipient
statistical sampling every other year for districts where there are
a lot of needy children and the percentage of recipients has not
changed over time, or some other similar way to reduce burden.
