Abstract: THIS IS A FOLLOWUP TO THE 1984 SURVEY OF THE SAME NAME CONDUCTED BY HU THE CURRENT SURVEY SEEKS TO RELIABLY ESTIMATE THE NUMBER OF SHELTER BE AVAILABLE NATIONWIDE AND TO STUDY THE SERVICES AVAILABLE IN THE SHELTERS AND THE COST OF PROVIDING THESE SERVICES.
