UNDER SECTIONS 12(I) AND 12(L) OF THE
RAILROAD UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ACT (RUIA), THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT
BOARD IS AUTHORIZED TO ESTABLISH, MAINTAIN AND OPERATE FREE
EMPLOYMENT OFFICES TO PROVIDE CLAIMANTS FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS
WITH JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES. THE COLLECTION OBTAINS INFORMATION TO
IMPROVE AND EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE BOARD'S EMPLOYMENT
SERVICES PROGRAM.
