Terms of Clearance: This collection is approved for use under OMB control number 2106-0033 through 3/31/89 by which time DOT shall have initiated a rulemaking to revise 14CFRPart212 to address the following concerns: (1) elimination of requirments that foreign carriers or charterers disclose total or partial charter price (2) elimination of all parts of Appendix B except the statement of warranty, thereby eliminating most of 212.24, 212.31, 212.41, 212.45, 212.47, and 212.53 (3) elimination of 212.46, unless explicit justification can be made as to this section's practical utility, (4) and other changes that the Department believes to be appropriate. The Department may want to undertake this rulemaking in conjunction with similar changes to Parts 207 and 208. If DOT fails to undertake a project to address these concerns, OMB will consider taking other actions to ensure that this collection, as well as the collections associated with Parts 207 and 208, are in compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, as amended.
