OF INCOME TAX LIABILITY. TAXPAYERS MAY AVOID THE APPLICATION OF THE
PROVISION BY VOLUNTARILY DISCLOSING RELEVANT FACTS ON THEIR TAX
RETURNS OR IN A STATEMENT ATTACHED THERETO. THE REGULATIONS
DESCRIBE WHAT IS TO BE DISCLOSED AND THE MANNER OF DISCLOSURE.
