THE MARINE MAMMAL ACT AS AMENDED
REQUIRED THE BANNING OF IMPORTATION OF CERTAIN FISH UNLESS THE
NATION OR ORIGIN MEETS U.S. STANDARDS FOR MAMMAL PROTECTION.
IMPORTS OF SUCH FISH MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY DOCUMENTATION ON THE
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN, AND SERVES AS A BASIS FOR ALLOWING
IMPORTATION.

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
