Approved through
April 1990 with the understanding that BLS will add an explanatory
note to the tables showing the proportion of different kinds of
accidents. The note will explain that changes in the proportion of
accidents due to a specific clause may result from changes in the
frequency of other categories and not from a change in frequency of
the specific kind of accident.
