Abstract: THE PORT FACILITIES INVENTORY SYSTEM WAS DEVELOPED TO FULFILL THIS AGENCY'S RESPONSIBILITIES CONTAINED IN E.O. 11490 (EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS FUNCTIONS) RELATING TO THE OPERATIONAL CONTROL AND ALLOCATION OF U.S. PORT FACILITIES DURING NATIONAL EMERGENCIES.
