Abstract: OWNERS OR OPERATORS OF UNDERGROUND URANIUM MINES ARE REQUIRED TO BULKHEAD MAN MADE VOIDS FROM WHICH ORE HAS BEEN EXTRACTED TO CONTROL RADON-222 EMISSIONS TO THE ENVIRONMENT, AIR FLOW CHECKS AND VISUAL INSPECTIONS OF THE BULKHEADS ARE REQUIRED TO ENSURE THEIR INTEGRITY OVER TIME, AN ANNUAL REPORT IS REQUIRED AND RECORDS MAINTAINED FOR 2 YEARS.
