The "Job Corps
Placement and Assistance Record" is approved through April 1989.
Upon resubmission of this package at that time, DOL's supporting
statement should explain why a successful placement is counted: a)
up to six months after termination of the corpsmember from the
program, as opposed to a much shorter period (e.g., two to four
weeks) during which placement might more reasonably be attributed
to the receipt of Job Corps services, and b) for placement in
occupations unrelated to the training received while in the
program.
